Mackay Memorial Hospital is presently under the jurisdiction of the Presbyterian Church in Taiwan. The hospital was established in memory of Dr. George Leslie Mackay who followed in the footsteps of Jesus Christ by coming to Taiwan, and is founded based on the motto of “As Christ gives salvation for the soul, medicine cures the body, mind and spirit.”
