Tomb of Rev.G.L.Mackay

 Tomb of Rev.G.L.Mackay is located at No. 26, Jen Li St., Tamsui Town (behind Tamkang High School) 
This is where Dr. Mackay was buried. The people who are buried here are all Mackay’s family and students. When Mackay died on June 2, 1901, his family built a wall between his tomb and the foreigner’s cemetery according to Mackay’s will and used the separated area as his family cemetery. His wife Chang Tsung-ming was buried on his right, his daughter and son-in-law on the further right and his close students at the outside circle. On Mackay’s left are his oldest son George William Mackay and his wife; his other relatives are on the further left. The front side of Dr. Mackay’s and his wife’s tombstone were engraved in English and the Roman phonetic of Chinese characters, the Chinese characters are on the back.

MRT Danshuei Station --> Jung Jeng Rd. (Old Street) --> San Min St. --> Jen Li St. (About 40 minutes)

By Bus:
MRT Danshuei Station --> Line 26 (About 20 minutes)

By Driving: 
MRT Danshuei Station -->Jung Shan Rd. --> Wun Hua Rd. -->Jen Li St. (About 20 minutes)
